We want to believe the Pantone of the Year 2020 will be Bleached Coral 115–1 U. Above all, this color translates the destruction the oceans have been being victim of. For example, the possible extinction of the coral reefs.
The Pantone of the Year 2019 was The Living Coral P 16–1546 as an “animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge”. As climate change’s effects increase, many designers have pointed out the important that it is to keep reminding that on a daily basis.
